Rupesh has broad experience as Assistant Professor and visiting faculty of more than 9 years of progressive professional experiences in design, implementation and supervision of education, training, and research projects in the field of entrepreneurship and marketing at the graduate level. His specific areas of expertise include Consumer Behavior, Product and Brand Management, New Venture Creation, Entrepreneurial Marketing and Entrepreneurship & Innovation and teach these courses to MBA students at Kathmandu University School of Management.
He is also the co-founder of Idea Studio a national level entrepreneurship and innovation development platform in Nepal.
He is passionate about delivering progressive higher education in the field of entrepreneurship and is working towards bringing innovation to the teaching learning environment in his classrooms. He established the first business incubator in academia in Nepal at Kathmandu University School of Management. The business incubator at the university is established to make higher management education practical and entrepreneurial by fostering and encouraging the young minds to contribute through launching Start Ups. His research interests are in entrepreneurial development models, entrepreneurial ecosystems for Nepal consumer behavior, and branding. He is currently involved in entrepreneurship education programs with Oulu University, Finland; and MIT, USA.
