Dipta Shah is the Managing Partner at 54i Ventures, a boutique transaction advisory and management consulting firm that works with technology-enabled SMEs and ecosystem enablers in Nepal. Dipta has over two decades of international experience in the private and public domains, across a range of operating and investing roles. He has worked with Fortune 500 companies, international government entities, and top-tier management at development finance institutions, helping drive operational excellence and innovation.
In his prior role, Dipta helped design, execute and manage in portfolio, a first of its kind, global seed stage investment program to address funding and knowledge gaps in nascent tech-ecosystems. He contributed to the Wold Bank-sponsored “XL Africa”, a pan-African virtual accelerator initiative; was part of the IFC/FT Transformational Awards shortlisting panel; and a member of the core team that conceptualized the G20 Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative. Dipta continues to look for ways to transpose the knowledge from his work abroad to meaningfully engage across the digital landscape in Nepal, at the firm, intermediary, and policy levels including on matters related to funding mobilization, technical advisory and global knowledge in-sourcing.
